Morongo Men's Club Triumph Over Quakes

Morongo Men's Club were triumphant over Quakes 4-2 on Sunday at Little Lake Park.
Quakes opened the scoring in the first after Kevin Castillo hit a solo home run to center field.
A home run to left field by Eloy gave Morongo Men's Club the lead, 2-1, in the bottom of the first.
David Hess grounded out, which helped Quakes tie the game at two in the top of the second.
Morongo Men's Club took the lead in the bottom of the second. Karim singled, scoring one run, to give Morongo Men's Club the edge, 3-2.
Morongo Men's Club added one run in the third. Kota singled, making the score 4-2.
Luis earned the win for Morongo Men's Club. They gave up three hits and two runs (one earned) over four innings, striking out five and walking three. Kirk Walker took the loss for Quakes. The starting pitcher went three innings, allowing four runs on eight hits, striking out three and walking none.
Eloy drove the middle of the lineup, leading Morongo Men's Club with two runs batted in. The cleanup hitter went 2-for-2 on the day. Eloy and Karim each collected two hits for Morongo Men's Club.
Castillo led Quakes with one run batted in. They went 2-for-2 on the day. Quakes were sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. Walker had the most chances in the field with two.
