SCIFL hosted its final Alliance Tournament of the year on July 29-30, 2023 at Los Nietos Park and Little Lake Park in Santa Fe Springs, CA.
Raymar goes undefeated once again to claim their second Championship of the year. In the round robin, they won both games, allowed 2 runs, and scores 12 runs to be seed 2nd behind the Budmen Fastpitch.
They started their single elimination game facing the Wild Bunch and then faced Maccabi in the semi-final. They defeated both teams 8 to 7 in very close games before heading to the championship to face the Beaumont Coyotes.
The Coyotes finished their round robin seeding fourth. They started their single elimination game facing the Warriors. The Warriors jumped out in front 6 to 2, but the Coyotes came back from behind to tie the game to force a tie-breaker where they scored the winning run to face the number one seed Budmen.
The Coyotes scored 2 runs in the 1st, 2 runs in the 2nd, and 2 runs in the 3rd. The Budmen tried to rally back by scoring 3 runs, but the Coyotes were able to hold them off to face Raymar in the Championship game.
In the Championship game, the Coyotes started off strong but Raymar came back from behind to hold off the Coyotes 4 to 2 to win their 2nd tournament of the year.
